By Road
The main route from the Chester area is via the A55 expressway. Clients approaching from Mid or South Wales will finish their journey on the A470. Upon reaching Llandudno town centre find the promenade, travel towards the pier and pass it on the right, continuing past the Grand Hotel. You will then pass the second entrance to the pier on the right and after some three hundred metres you will enter the Great Orme Scenic Route (Marine Drive). The lighthouse will be found some two miles from the Toll Gate Cottage.
The lighthouse is served by Manchester International Airport, which is then a one and quarter hours drive away. Car hire firms are numerous.
By Rail
The local station is Llandudno and is some three a half miles from the Lighthouse. The station is reached by changing from the main line stations of Llandudno Junction, which is found on the London (Euston) to Holyhead line (route to both Northern Ireland and Eire).
